Larkspur Carroll, DVM

Raised in a bustling East Coast racing family who saddled Graded Stakes winners for storied owners such as the Farish's to graduating from Fair Hill Pony Club, Dr. Carroll's professional life has been one surrounded by horses and extraordinary individuals.


A graduate of University of Maryland and Ohio State, Dr. Carroll went on to intern at Rood and Riddle in Lexington, Kentucky, later earning her certification through Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine and International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. 


An in demand Chiropractic practitioner for race horses, sport horses and canine, she opened her CORE Therapies practice and the company has since then expanded to include PEMF, Laser, Acupuncture and other sports medicine therapies. 


In addition to galloping racehorses, Dr. Carroll also campaigns her off the track Thoroughbred in eventing, as well as to advocating for a cure for pancreatic cancer through her own Team Neigh Neigh, owning and managing Apple Ridge Farm, and being a mother.

Tiffany Gish (Administrative Assistant)

Tiffany is a native of small-town Rockport, IN where she began riding horses at the age of 7.  Her love of everything horses started from the first lesson.  She went on to attend Murray State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree of Science of Agriculture in Equine Science with a minor in Veterinary Medicine.  From Murray, she moved back home to Indiana where she worked as a manager at Tractor Supply Co. before coming back to Kentucky to take at job at Orchard Park, LLC.  Prior to joining the CORE team in April of 2022, Tiffany gained experience in equine reproduction and equine nursery.  She lives in Lexington with her two horses Ebony's Black Magic and Spartan Empire.  In her free time she enjoys drawing, riding her horses, and settling down with a good book.

Tory Egerton (Therapies Associate)


Originating from Mohegan Lake, New York, Tory grew up feeding her passion for horses through books, movies, and the Kentucky Derby. At age 15, she started taking riding lessons and when it came time to go to college, of course she chose a path with horses. She went on to attend SUNY Morrisville and pursue a degree in Equine Science and Thoroughbred Management, where she found her passion for rehabilitation and therapy. After graduating in 2017, she decided to escape the cold northern winters and move to Lexington to start a tech position at Rood and Riddle. She then spent some time on the track working as an assistant trainer, and most recently before joining CORE Therapies spent the last 3 years at Hagyard Equine Medical as Dr. Wolfsdorf’s assistant and learning the ins and outs of equine reproduction. Tory spends most of her free time on her farm in Versailles, she enjoys riding her OTTBs, kayaking, and is an aquarium enthusiast.

Chelsey Humphrey (AppleRidge Farm Manager)

Chelsey is originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she received her Bachelor's of Animal Science in 2012. Following graduation Chelsey completed the Kentucky Equine Management Internship at WinStar Farm, where she finished her first foaling season and remained to prep yearlings as well. She next moved to Chanteclair Farm, where she resided for several years. Chelsey served as Farm Manager for her last two years at Chanteclair, overseeing the entirety of their breed to sell program and all farm operations. In the years before coming to AppleRidge Chelsey worked as Farm Manager at Parkland Farm, and Surgery Barn Manager at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, before recently building a new house in Lawrenceburg with her husband. In her free time she enjoys tending to her extensive house plant collection, working on her native wildflower garden, and scouring local flea markets for antique treasures.
